Bowl



After we finished the introduction of the Fab lab, I know how to use the most of the machines. The first task for us is using the aluminian sheet to make a bowl. Before we hit the aluminian we need to mark two circles and focus the area between the two circles, and using the hammer keep hitting the sheet which on the top of the mould to make the curve shape. Do not hit the aluminian over power, be patience and make the shape perfectly.






After I made the bowl shape, I put it on the sandbag and use the back of the hammer to smooth the uneven area in the central.
Then I use the English wheel to make the shape smooth and creating a polish effect.

Parallel Projection2

The parallel projection here combined DL: Light and directionality & HS: Centripetal and Centrifugal. And the two sections make a beautiful combination, the relationship between the positive and negative space is exactly well. I think the two sections are  the most similar  concepts of Daniel and Hans, they make a same language.
